Who's responsible
The Redline Macro team is responsible for your data. Contact: .
What we collect and why
- Your purchase: your email address, what you bought, and payment status. Sell.app processes these to sell you the licence and send your key. Payments go through PayPal or your crypto wallet; we never see your card details.
- Your licence: your licence key and an anonymous PC ID. The PC ID is a one-way hash made from your Windows installation and user name; it can't be turned back into either. It's used only to enforce one PC per key.
- Licence checks: when the app checks your licence it contacts our licence server, hosted on Cloudflare, which asks Sell.app whether the key is valid. Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver that request.
- Updates: the app checks GitHub for new versions and downloads updates from it, which shares your IP address with GitHub.
- Support: if you email us or message us on Discord, we see what you send and use it to help you.
Your macros, keybinds, profiles and settings stay on your PC. We don't collect them.
This website
We don't use analytics or advertising trackers. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, loads its fonts from Google Fonts, and the checkout window is provided by Sell.app; each of these sees your IP address when your browser loads from them.
Legal basis
We process your data to fulfil your purchase and licence (contract), to keep records we're required to keep (legal obligation), and to protect against key sharing and fraud (legitimate interest).
Who else handles it
Sell.app (store and licence keys), PayPal (payments, if you pay with PayPal), Cloudflare (website and licence server), GitHub (downloads and updates), and Discord (if you contact us there). Some of them may process data outside the EU under their own safeguards.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Licence data is kept while your licence exists. Support messages are kept as long as needed to help you.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing . Some purchase records may have to be kept by law. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your EU country.
